A Year In Review

My birthday was this past weekend. If you have to know, I turned 42. Am I 42-years-young or old as dirt? I guess that all depends on your perspective. Personally, I lean towards the former.

Last year at this time I was wrapping up my time at a job where I really stuggled. I just wasn’t going to be successful there no matter how hard I tried or wanted it to be different. It didn’t take me too long to realize this fact – from day one I just could not make any of my clients, and eventually my team members, happy. Whether it was the questions I asked or the ideas I suggested, they didn't seem right. Within about 10 months I had just about completely shut down and was gone soon after that.

One of the things I’ve loved most about this past year is again having happy clients. No matter how scared I am to try something new – a new design, a new recipe, new flavors – I get amazing reactions.

I think the picture says it all.

So this post is a thank you to my customers, who have made my past year so fulfilling.

Peace. Love.
